If it is Co2 then we are simply accelerating Ice ages.
I did just answer one of my own questions. at least a theory of possible mechanism.
If CO2 is the primary moving force in the global warming cycle then the obvious end to global warming will happen at our own hands before warming can exceed historical levels an ice age must trigger.
There has to be an explaination for the 3° drop in temps at the end of a warming period. If CO2 is the primary actor then it is responsible for that 3° drop somehow. After 5000 years of cooling the oceans bleed off enough energy begin to recapture co2 hence the 5000 year lag in co2 reduction. therfore with co2 as the primary mover we are simply accelerating the ice age that was on schedule by a few centuries. We will not be pushing ourselves into a cinder planet
something akin to "The Day After Tomorrow" would be an absolute must ( not the giant hurricanes and stuff but some form of a trigger that radically cools the planet). Is the GW community suggesting that we are simply accelerating ice age? or is that one of the more fringe ideas of what co2 might cause?
