Saitek Keyboard Review

I play quite a few games on my PC, and I've noticed in certain games my wireless keyboard would cut out briefly, and always at the worst times of course. So after being killed multiple times by the keyboard glitch, I decided to pick up a new one.
I went down to the local Best Buy store armed with a $50 gift card, and went looking for the perfect replacement, with in my budget of course.
I've been reading various reviews on keyboard also, and for under $50, I kept coming back to the Saitek Eclipse II keyboard.
Best Buy happened to carry it, so I went ahead and grabbed it.
After hooking it up, my first thought is, WOW!
The keys feel great. Soft, but not too mushy. Also, has a couple of different options for the angle on the keyboard, which is nice.
One of the nice options IMO is the backlight keys. I normally play games late into the night, and often lose track of where the keys are. So having the backlight is sweet. It even gives you options for different colors on the light.
All in all, I am really glad I picked this keyboard. I almost opted for the $79 Logitech board,( not sure which model), but I'm happy I picked this!
I give it a 9/10!

| | I have a wireless keyboard as well. I hate having dead batteries while playing a game. Right at the critical moment too! I keep a pair of fresh triple AAAs right on the desk just encase. |

| | I always kept spare batteries also, but I can't even describe how much better this keyboard feels. It a breeze to type on, plus the backlighting is a nice touch, beings that most of the time I play games until the wee hours of the night. But your right about the batteries always die at the worst moments. Never fails... ![]() |
