CSC: The Company You've Never Heard Of
As I was casually walking out on the Oracle OpenWorld show floor today, I stumbled upon the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) booth. Having interviewed CSC employees and being an avid fan of cycling, I already knew what the company is known for... but do you?
What exactly is CSC? "The biggest company you've never heard of," said one CSC employee during the show.
Even as the sponsor of one of the best cycling teams in the world -- something CSC is very proud of -- most people still have no idea how big CSC really is.
The company is involved in a wide variety of different industries, and here is the list to prove it.
"How can a company with almost 90,000 employees go unknown by just about everybody?" I asked a bored looking employee.
"Beats me," replied a bemused employee.
Even though CSC marketing skills aren't the best in the tech industry, clients and customers appear to be satisfied with CSC.
Time to get to my original point of all of this rambling:
