stupid morons isn't an oxymoron

I've begun to wonder recently if the pent up rage I have for dumb people is a condition of me being in my mid 30's now, or if it's simply due to the fact that I'm dealing with a lot of really ( IMO ) ignorant people recently. Either that, or I've come of age and have just really started noticing these blissfully ignorant morons.
It started with my brother. It seems that I look at him with much more disdain and criticism since his "fake marriage" went through a "fake divorce".
What do I mean by that. What I mean is that my brother values looks and prestige over actual intrinsic value from my presumptions after living with him for a few months. The marriage was filled with accusations, boozing, babies, silicon, dui's and restraining orders. He then takes the children and moves in with me and files for divorce. After discovering the difficulty of being a single parent and finding that there is no "pie in the sky", and against everyone telling him not to, he goes back to the wife. Of course, this was only out of convenience. He spent a bit of time with women other than her during this, but claimed the whole time that he loved his wife soooo much
Whatever bro. I love you to the end, but you are an idiot. He lost his job BECAUSE he went back to her. Now they are all cramped into a single bedroom apartment trying to make ends meet.
It gets better. He now works for an Audi dealership and is already talking about the Porsche that he wants to buy. His wife is still boozing it up, got a second DUI right before he got back with her and had her car repossessed. I feel bad for the kids because they are the ones that will suffer the most.
I could make this blog entry last the length of a short story if I wanted to, so I'll stop with just the one example.
The greater point is that fact that I see dumb people. It's not that they were never there before, but my tolerance for them has suddenly started to fall short on dealing with them. Usually I can take a situation like a customer that I surprised by showing up early and they have to get ready to leave so I can put a coat of polyurethane on their hardwood floors. I get that. It happens. But what I'm finding difficult to handle is the customer that doddles. Hey, I know I'm early for you ( not for me ), but show me a little courtesy and get the hell out of your house, you aren't my only stop you know! Besides, WE WERE HERE YESTERDAY AND WILL BE BACK TOMORROW! Get your act in gear already. You shouldn't be surprised by our presence in your home. See, that's what I'm talking about.
Usually I could put myself in my customers shoes and show some understanding. Perhaps I've just done it for so long and for so many people I'm finally just fed up with it? No, I think it's just that I've come to realize that there are just a bunch of stupid morons out there that just can't get with the program. They are ignorant to something dangling right in front of their noses, and I'm starting to notice it more and more.
I do not want to become a jaded old man or a "know-it-all" like some morons I know. But it seems that I'm heading down that path.
Maybe I just need to change the company I keep.
