Pet peeves, oh I gots them alright. Tonight, I got my button pressed, with a hammer.

One of my peeves is getting sent to the grocery store ( usually ) for something inconsequential. It's been this way for years. Someone inevitably wants to have some meal, or some desert that requires something we don't have...either one key ingredient, or NONE OF THEM AT ALL. Before it wasn't a HUGE issue, the store was across the street and stayed open until midnight.

Now, I'm 6 miles from the nearest grocery store, so when I go, I'm going for a good reason.

Not tonight. First, my buddy buys some Corona's that he says are no good ( taste fine to me, but more on that later ), and wants me to run to the store since he's already had one regular beer we had left over

Fine, I'll run up to the local store ( a few blocks away ). Oh, but the kids want a bon fire, and along with it decide that they need to make s'mores! We don't have any of the ingredients!

Beg and plead, I tell them to forget it, I'm not sitting outside to tend a fire, or run up to the store 6 miles away for s'mores fixin's. Well, somehow I get roped into going anyway. SO, I drive my buddies vehicle if I'm going to waste gas, might as well be his, and get the stuff...2x as much as needed so THEY DON'T BOTHER ME WITH THIS CRAP AGAIN. And I get regular beer for him.

Well, I figure as long as I'm out and have his money to burn....I picked up a lime and some grapefruit juice.

I burned his corona with a lime...tasty! and am now knocking back greyhounds ( vodka and grapefruit juice....heavy on the fire water ...) and am about to go kick his son's ass in Dead Or Alive 2 Hardcore on the PS2 )...
