Ughh ... I think its time to schedule a councilors visit/phone call. If you go into a program you in theory wanted to be in and hate it half way through the first quarter, you need help there buddy. |

| lies, lies, and more lies. And them some more lies.
ITT Tech employees lies. The recruiter (AKA Admissions Representative) will lie to you. He works on commission. The Financial Aid person will lie to you. I believe that he also works on commission. The students who have been there for a while will lie to you. They want to pretend their degree is worth something. The teachers will lie to you or they will be fired and then they won't be teachers, so the original statement holds true. If you ask to where your credits will transfer, you will be lied to. Visit Career Services and they will lie to you. They are just lazy I think. They will tell you the truth about the lies that the recruiter told you when you first enrolled. Buyer beware. |

English/Math etc. is online
~$80,000
Devry University:
Don't know how many days a week
Live in Seattle; (living costs?)
English and Math etc. is integrated into the stuff
Network Admin Class
~$50,000
Any help would be great! |
ITT has an ACCSCT accreditation which is only shared among tech schools and is not normally transferable to other universities. DeVry has a Higher Learning Commission accreditation putting it on par with Ivy League universities who share the same regional accreditations and will share class credits across state universities. You can use both online and brick and mortar classes if you do move close enough to a campus; to take advantage of both getting hands on experience for the technical classes and being able to do your math and english classes in your underwear.
DeVry's online class structure allows you to post in the classroom thread from Sunday to Sunday each week at your convenience with a minimum of 3 "quality" (aka you have to show you know what you're talking about) posts with at least one before each Wednesday. The classes are compressed into 2, 8 week sessions each semester (4 month tri-semesters) yearly so you have to pay attention and be self-motivated or you'll miss a lot quickly. I've been doing it for 2 years now and enjoy it very much. |

| Find out the truth about ITT
The truth about ITT can be found at
ittakestime.org
Find out about all the deceptive practices and what we’re trying to do about it. Find out the connection between ITT and Devry, Pending lawsuits against ITT, including financial aid scams and more. To anyone thinking about going to ITT do yourself a favor. Don't Do It! Credits don't transfer; the education is poor at best and It is much cheaper to go to a community college.
Just signing up at ITT will cost you
Administrative Fee $300
Academic Fee $200
Admission Fee $100
Not to mention if you withdraw from a course after the third week in the first quarter it will cost you full tuition for that quarter (around $8,000). They do not care about your education they are only after your money. As a final note most employers will not respect a degree from ITT simply because there is no integrity in there grading system. Everyone will pass as long as they continue to show up and pay tuition. |
