| Devry University vs. ITT Tech
Hey guys, I have narrowed my options down to Devry or ITT; I know there might be better choiceds but these ones are close to home and that is what I want. I need some help. I am looking to be a network admin and also take business classes.
ITT Tech:
2 days a week
Rest of the stuff is online
Live at Home
Don't know if they have a Network admin class
English/Math etc. is online
~$80,000
Devry University:
Don't know how many days a week
Live in Seattle; (living costs?)
English and Math etc. is integrated into the stuff
Network Admin Class
~$50,000
Any help would be great!

have you taken classes online before? If you are the type like me who is very hands on to learn then online classes are not the way to go.
Just food for thought. I hear nothing but bad things about ITT tech over here. Are you wanting to admin MS, Linux, Cisco, etc.
What is your primary focus? |

anything that gets your hands on networking
i am going towards the networking side so i have a job working as a network engineer for a school. You will have to start at the bottom of course, depends on what they need. I would look around. Even doing volunteer work, just so you have something on a resume saying. LOOK! I ACTUALLY TOUCHED A COMPUTER IN A REAL NETWORK ENVIROMENT.
Classes are great, but they cant teach you the real world alot of times. |
