    help me w/ my future

Ok, so I want to make a lot of money (don't we all ) I'm 17 years old and I plan on getting my A+ pretty soon.

So here is what I need from you guys. I plan to be working in something regarding network admin or some type of network maintainance job. I want to get my A+ pretty soon so I can get a job at a computer store or something.

I really don't like school, but if I have to go in order to meet the requirements for most jobs I will.

There is this Community College around my house that offers this

Tell me what you think about that one ^^^

Here is all the other options they offer:

I ran a search on monster.com and I realized that most of the high paying jobs require a bachelors degree, can someone please explain what that means?

    Thanks in advance

    edit:
One more thing I forgot to mention, which certs should I be aiming for?

    1) Dont think with your A+ that is gonna get you in the door. Its nice to get the basics down, but that certification isnt going to do much for you. A+ and alot of the other certifications are a dime a dozen. Volunteer do an internship ANYTHING to get you in the door so you can put on your resume "i have experience in this......"

    2) You need to make sure that school is acredited if you are interested in attending it.

    3) Do you have any work expereience? If you are not working in the field right now you need to get into ASAP. If you have certs but no experience in a real network enviroment, dont expect people asking you to work.

    4) A bachelors is 4 years of college. You will want to get this as alot of jobs seem to go back to we only want people who have been in college.

As for which route of certifications you want to go you have Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Linux, SAN, etc.... What are your interest?

    Thanks for the quick reply,

As of right now I am working for the School District in my city, I am an IT Intern and pretty much I deal with setting up all the computers and connecting them to the network.

When you say that I need to make sure that the school is acredited what do you mean by that?
