| Help on A+ ceritification exam ok well im 16 will be 17 soon and i have 2 years of experience with computers, i love computers alot i plan on going into the computer industry ill be buying some software and books to study for the A+ exam and plan on it to take it this year, so here is my question im not sure where i can take the A+ exam can any one help me find a place to take it? |

| What do they name the A+ exam? is it the CompTIA? |

| ah ok thanks for the help i learnd something today. so anything that says compTIA will be the A+ exam? |

| No comptia has server different exams such as server+, network+, linux+, etc. They are pretty much generic exams that gives you the basics of a certain topic |

| I've passed my A+ at the start of this year, measureup.com is a good help.
N+ im doing fairly soon, tis rather hard! |

| The question you should ask yourself is what are you wanting to do in the IT world?
Desktop support?
Server support? (MS, Linux,etc)
Network (Cisco,etc)
Secuirty
DBA
SAN
Wireless
etc
From there you will decide what career path you will want to take. You might start the CCNA and go, you know this is really boring and im not interested in it. And switch to the MCP/MCSA or linux because you enjoy working on servers. It it all up to you. |
