Working on Network specialist degree..

Right now im just in 2nd semester for associates in network specialist....I was wondering if I go to a 4 year college that i can try and get network administrator degree?

Where exactly are you going to school?

Im sure if there was a "network administrator degree" the school you are currently going to will have it. However, if you try to transfer to a 4 year college you might have a difficult time. Have you talked to the counselor of your school about how your degree will transfer from that school to a new school? If you have a school you are interested in, I would talk to a counselor there to ask how your degree will be viewed or excepted.

IT degrees are a very tricky thing when it comes to changing schools.

Your general councilor or a councilor for your department are going to be your #1 resource for information on transferring and moving to another school. If your in a specialized program, you may have limited options for where you want to go to school as they may have transfer agreements in place to ensure you get proper credit for certain classes that you will not get credit for at other schools.

Either way, check with them first!
