i'm starting on my associate's in computer information systems( Networking ), and i was wondering what certifications that will probably prepare me for. A+ ,network+, mcse, ccent, ccna, ccnp? i'd like to know what i'll be ready to take, and what i'll need to work on after i graduate. any help is appreciated.

And then you list several certs? Did you maybe mean to ask what books you can read that would prepare you?

Im not sure about those books, ive seen a couple for MS and they seemed decent.

Amazon.com: CompTIA A+ Exam Cram (Exams 220-602, 220-603, 220-604): Charles J. Brooks: Books

That is what i used for my comptia exams, of course mine was the older version since it was a longgggggggggggg time ago. Comptia exams are very basic entry level exams. They arent hard at all if you have been out in the field.

the thing is that although i am sure i could pass, im worried about questions like what is the "maximum distance for USB" or other random trivia that i might not know screwing me out of a pass.
