Ive been studying hardware components and prices. Im fairly good at picking out decent components for fellow users looking to upgrade or build.

CompTIA A+ (2006 objectives) by taking 220-601 and one of the following: 220-602, 220-603 and 220-604 exams

The latest version of CompTIA A+ is CompTIA A+ 2009 Edition. Two exams are necessary to be certified: CompTIA A+ Essentials, exam code 220-701; and CompTIA A+ Practical Application, exam code 220-702.

Pricing parts and building a single workstation is a good start but that isnt what you will be doing in a corporate environment. Dell will be your friend and pre-built machines are basically the norm, unless your company has no money. The only components ive ever bought for a machine are RAM, HDs, and i think one video card. |
