Those who see nothing wrong with what the police did to that kid are worthless sacks of nazi shit, IMHO.
| Jon, that's inappropriate. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't merit childish name calling. I know you're a better person than that, I hope you realize that and edit your post.
As for the second video, I saw nothing wrong. When you act like she did, you're looking for trouble. If she has a problem with the ticket than she should fight it in court, not on the roadside. Then she refused to step out of the car, so instead of having to drag her he resorted to tazing her. The whole time he maintained his composure, and acted professionally. Trust me, I don't like police any more than you, but they have a job to do and when you make it hard for them you're gonna push buttons, and you may not like the consequences. But just because you don't like the consequences doesn't mean that its unwarranted. |

It's beyond inappropriate, and I won't edit my post even if I come to regret the remark. We have rights BEFORE the courtroom, and this society has become so full of fear and/or sadistic desire that we've come to accept this behavior! BS, all the way. |

Try talking to a cop like that 50 years ago, you'd wish that you'd gotten tazered. They system has gotten a hell of a lot better than it ever was in the past. |

Just because it is better than it used to be does not mean that it is a good system.

Well obviously not. I just found your comment a little irrelevant to the details of what happened. It was simply a moment for me to play the devils advocate. |

Lolipop or Taser
Am I oversimplifying?
Both of those people were tortured by ones who "protect and serve". Electrical torture is illegal by both our own and international laws and treaties. Not only is the initial use in these cases uncalled for as an abuse of power, the continued use of these devices on already disabled people is blatant torture.
immediate compliance OR Immediate Torture
It's going to be a beautiful future.

We shouldn't do either, Shawshank. What era are you from? We're not talking about armed criminals, or even violent criminals. We have a pain in the ass kid at a college, and a suspended license driver! Are you ready to get tasered multiple times for speeding, jaywalking, or protesting in any format? |

| Well considering both incidents, the offenders were tazed for none of those reasons. The repeadetly disobeyed a police officer, whose duty it is to keep the peace. |
