UCLA Student TASERED for Not Having Student ID

No he was tasered for not having a valid ID to be in the library(i.e.trespassing) and ignoring security officers request to leave. He was a belligerent pr**ck and got his due electrodes.

Must've been raised by a single mom. You smart-mouth/defy an authority doing their job you deserve an ass-beating your absent dad didnt apply during your formative years.

Very simple. told to leave, warned, failed to leave again cycle happened hundreds of times finally was tazed.

Could have been avoided no problem... all in the asses control.

"this is your justice" (he said) OMFG please this guy is such an ass.

the reply to that should be ("are you really that stupid")

I only had to watch a little bit of the video to understand that the student was at fault here. This is what I saw/heard in the video.

Officer: Stand Up!
Student: Fuck off
Officer: Stand up or we will Tase you again (Mutliple times)
The Officer tases him.
Student: I said I was going to leave!


I don't care who you are, but "Fuck Off" and "I was going to leave" do not sound anything alike, nor do they have the same meaning at all.


I love how this kid trys to act tough (Patriot Act, which BTW does not apply in this scenario) yet he says he will comply just to stop them from Tasing him, and then immediatly tells them to "Fuck Off" again.

I was suggesting the fat cat method as an alternative to the tazing. Why is tazing warrented when he didnt fight back. True he should have respected the cops as its totally obvious that if you do you get off easier. But i dont think not complying warrents tazing.

Go to a major event or 2 at a big city arena and keep you eyes peeled. Some dumb drunk will almost always end up getting his ass beat by the cops. In Philly, I've seen it like 10 times.

We've seen L.A.P.D. on the news as well.

Those guys would've begged for a taser.
