Khalid Sheikh Mohammed Confesses to Planning Sept. 11
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,258817,00.htmlWASHINGTON — Khalid Sheikh Mohammed cemented his position as Al Qaeda's most ambitious operational planner when he confessed in a U.S. military tribunal to planning and supporting 31 terrorist attacks, topped by the Sept. 11 attacks, which killed thousands of innocent victims since the early 1990s.
The gruesome attacks range from the hijackings of 9/11 — which killed nearly 3,000 — to a 2002 shooting on an island off Kuwait that killed a U.S. Marine.
Many plots, including a previously undisclosed plan to kill several former U.S. presidents, were never carried out or were foiled by international counterterror
"I was responsible for the 9/11 operation from A to Z," Mohammed said in a statement read Saturday during a Combatant Status Review Tribunal at the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Mohammed's confession was read by a member of the U.S. military who is serving as his personal representative.
The Pentagon released a 26-page transcript of the closed-door proceedings on Wednesday night. Some material was omitted.

here let me take care of the conspiracy nuts.
he was cohersed by the illuminatti controlled guards to say these things.
(flip side he is taking on so many acts that I am not sure I buy the validity of it.) Probably alot of chest puffing and false bragging. I wonder if he has the details to back up the claims???

Gomer it really does not. what he says is of little significants either way. conspiracy nutzzzz think the whole of 911 was karl roves plan and that the third anti-christ while working for bush hatched and carried it out.
reasonable people did not need his confession because we know arab terrorists attacked us using planes on wtc 1 & 2 the pentagon and a field in pensylvania.

Lunacy knows neither party nor creed.

It is very common in our legal system for people to admit to crimes they did not commit just so the cases can be closed.
I'd guess this guy is assuming responsibility for everything he knows about and/or has been told to admit to for better conditions in prison or something.

or he could be boasting of acts he did or acts he wished he did.
Irrelevant. shoot him he has been out of circulation too long lets torture him to death and get on with life he is of no further value to humanity.

You know, they've had him in custody for four years. Any guesses why they're releasing his redacted "confession" at this particular time?

Good... I guess. Of course, back in the old days, people confessed to being witches when tortured enough. The moral being.... Witches are real!!!
