NH REPUBLICANS: DON’T LIMIT DEBATE PARTICIPANTS
CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding primary weekend debates:
“Limiting the number of candidates who are invited to participate in debates is not consistent with the tradition of the first in the nation primary. The level playing field requires that all candidates be given an equal opportunity to participate – not just a select few determined by the media prior to any votes being cast.”
“Therefore, the New Hampshire Republican Party calls upon all media organizations planning pre-primary debates or forums for both parties to include all recognized major candidates in their events.”
“The New Hampshire Republican Party has notified FOX News of our position, and we are in ongoing discussions with FOX News about having as many candidates as possible participate in the forum scheduled for January 6.”

Jan. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Presidential candidate Ron Paul raised almost $20 million for his campaign in the last three months, potentially outpacing every one of his Republican rivals and putting his fundraising in league with Hillary Clinton's.
Paul, a U.S. representative from Texas, raised at least $19.5 million, according to a statement posted on his Web site. His campaign said today that he originally aimed to raise $12 million in the fourth quarter of 2007.
The take puts Paul on par with the top fundraisers in the Democratic Party, who outpaced Republicans last year. The campaign of New York Senator Clinton yesterday said she raised more than $100 million for the year, meaning she brought in at least $20 million in the fourth quarter. Bloomberg
We'll see if the momentum keeps up. |

I hear you on that. I put in $10, which is the only - and probably last - donation I'll give to a politico. |

Rep. Ron Paul, R-TX, joins the 1st hour of the show, live with Ed "Big Eddie" Shultz to talk about his run for President.
BTW, toadman, if there is a chance you may vote for him, then you really need to send $$. I wouldn't/couldn't vote for him but I donated to his campaign more out of a desire to send the neo-cons a message than anything else.

While I agree that mainstream coverage is needed, I feel that Dr. Paul has received sufficient funds to break records, make some headlines, and provide a great deal of services and advertising for his campaign. I hate to see him get too much in contributions only to turn around and give so much of it back to the MSM that has betrayed us all. Our time and our voices are the greatest contributions we can make - after all, it's the message that needs to be spread, not further support of the system that is dead set on inhibiting our core of liberties through vile acts of dishonesty and corruption. |

Here is a live video feed of the Veterans for Paul rally in Des Moines. They're setting up now. Coverage starts at 6:00 PM CT tonight. The actual rally is at 7:00 PM CT.
This campaign continues to set trends.
