Clinton: Faith got me through troubles

Yahoo News - AP

Quote:
WASHINGTON - In a rare public discussion of her husband's infidelity, Democratic presidential candidate
Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that she probably could not have gotten through her marital troubles without relying on her faith in God.

"I am very grateful that I had a grounding in faith that gave me the courage and the strength to do what I thought was right, regardless of what the world thought," Clinton said during a forum where the three leading Democratic presidential candidates talked about faith and values.

"I'm not sure I would have gotten through it without my faith," she said in response to a question about how she dealt with the infidelity.

Uh oh!

Seems like a nicely played attempt to get the vote of some Christians who don't affiliate themselves with the "Christian Right".

No religious test "eh"? Do people that listen to this religious junk even know the important issues facing the next administration or is religion all important?

My religious penis is bigger than your religious penis. What a crock but on the other hand, it’s good comedy for those of us watching the process. lol

Here's Tom "Hot Tub" DeLay explaining why his adulteries were better than Newt Gingrich's:
Quote:
DeLay criticizes Gingrich for, among other things, conducting an affair with a Capitol Hill employee during the 1998 impeachment trial of Bill Clinton. (The woman later became Gingrich’s third wife.) “Yes, I don’t think that Newt could set a high moral standard, a high moral tone, during that moment,” DeLay said. “You can’t do that if you’re keeping secrets about your own adulterous affairs.” He added that the impeachment trial was another of his “proudest moments.” The difference between his own adultery and Gingrich’s, he said, “is that I was no longer committing adultery by that time, the impeachment trial. There’s a big difference.” He added, “Also, I had returned to Christ and repented my sins by that time.”

Looks like Christ is handy no matter what your party is.

Because there a helluva lot of swing votes dependent on this "junk". Hitlery is baby-kissing her votes and demonizing the Right to draw the moderates left.
