"Can You Hear Me Now?"
Verizon announced today that its familiar "Can you hear me now?" Guy has been diagnosed with a fast growing brain tumor. "Hear-Me-Now Guy, as we call him around here, has a benign growth on the right side of his brain near the right ear," said a Verizon Spokesperson.
"The doctor tells me I'll be fine, but the tumor is inoperable," said Hear-Me-Now Guy. "I've started putting the phone to the left side of my head now in hopes that I can get some sort of tumor-symmetry, so I don't look stupid.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Poor Ole Hear me know guy.

That's too bad if it's true. I can't seem to find anything else about the Verizon guy.
His name is Paul Marcarelli by the way.Unofficial TechIMO record holder for the number of times being added and removed from beemer's ignore list.

That seems a bit odd...I'll wait until further confirmation before I believe it.

I will say that many people in the medical field will not wear a bluetooth type device around like jewelry.
You use it and then take it off and put it away.
There is no proof that it's bad for you... yet. But there are a lot of suspicions."The world burns while Obama Tweets."
February 25th, 2008, 12:39 PM #9In a separate announcement Verizon said they have contacted former Dell spokesman, Ben Curtis, for a new "Dude, you're getting a cell!" ad campaign. The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.
