After the Debate, somebody commented that McCain had won the Debate in Ohio because the two [fairly evenly matched] Candidates have punched each other into public boredom and have worn out their respective constituencies, who may be tired by now of this prolonged contest.

Or something like that.

While McCaine is sitting back (relatively speaking) and being recognized as the Republican Candidate (despite Huckabee continued nipping at his heels), the two Democrat wanabe Candidates are attacking or trying to survive each others attack.

Yes, this is getting tiresome.

This was supposed to be a Democrat "landslide year", with Presidential "coattails" carrying other Democrats into office. Somehow it doesn't look that way any more.

Don't forget Romney suspended his campaign. He did not quit. Because of his age McCain needs a strong running mate. Huckabee is on the media ignore list like Ron Paul.
