Many Dems secretly wish to wipe the chalkboard clean and put up a truly formidable contender. Choose your poison, sexist or racist riots at the DNC in Denver. Because someone has to lose unless thrown the VP bone.

And all of this is well before a single debate between the two. November is six months away and a lot can, and will, happen between now and then. One thing Nixon was right about is that timing is everything in politics.

My own view is that McCain will self-destruct in one way or another. Either too many senior moments exposed (or maybe they're just lack of knowledge) or a public meltdown.

No, just sticking out with every last hope to win.

Yes, let's count votes where Obama was not even on the ballot. Yeah, that's real fair.

Al Gore won in 2000. He got more popular votes and he got more votes in Florida but suffered from having the other side's thumb on the scale.

I hope Hillary keeps going...maybe she and Obama will take the other one out. As much as I disliked Hillary in the beginning of the campaign, i have to say I'm more terrified of an Obama White House.

Well, I guess the answer is in about whether Hillary was going to tone it down. She just came out and said Obama can't win White America. I predict that this is going to bring down MANY Dem elders on her ASAP. She just cooked her own goose.

Bingo, what EXACTLY do you fear so much about Obama???
