Much easier said than done... but all it takes is the initial movement, then the snowball effect hits.

No way in hell could someone convince me to vote for an uppidy black asshole or some feminazi.... damn gun control wack jobs and they will tax the hell out of you. | "uppidy black asshole"????? And by this you mean, what?? This, and the "WHITE House" comment seem to undermine your claim that you're not racist. If indeed you are not racist, why use racist language? In fact, I'm asking you to please stop using racist language!!!! It is quite offensive.
"feminazi" Another lovely term, although of much more recent vintage. Your use of such language undermines any legitimate point you might be trying to make.
I don't care what your political views are, your language is disgusting and totally unnecessary. |

| you read into things WAY too far... why don't you real all of the posts before casting judgement.. jesus christ...
Also, is it wrong for a white guy to play the race card if a black man will?
No. It's simply dutch door action.
The single white male is the MOST discriminated individual in this country now... maybe it's time we played the games that all other races have played.
How about instead of african american, or latino american, or asian american... that we label them as all Americans.. how hard is that? Id love to. Everyone born into this country has the same blood, as far as Im concerned... American. Yet, people like Obama, Wright, Jackson,Sharpton.. and etc Latino leaders spout shit off about black, mexican... whatever.
Why should that EVER matter? Stop referring to yourself as an African or a Mexican before being an American.. We are all one... united. At least, we should be.
People like they are the real racists in this country. All I want is an America that knows no skin color... that works twoards a future, and has common goals, that has hopes and dreams. They seem to want to live in the past, and it does NOTHING but make our future stumble.

I did read all the posts.
Language needs to be used carefully so as to accurately reflect the user's intent. Your use of a word like "uppidy (i.e. uppity)" puts you in the racist camp; if you don't want to be there, don't use that language.
If you are in fact ignorant of the historical use and significance of this term, a little research on-line will enlighten you as to why this is considered racist language.
"Feminazi" doesn't carry the historic weight of "uppity"; it is recent ugliness.
We may all be Americans, but we don't all have the same history, nor do we all live the same reality in our day to day lives. The single white male is not the most discriminated against person in our country today. If that were true, both our corporations and our prisons would look very different than they do at this time. |

| If you believe that, why would you ever call someone an "uppidy [sic] black asshole?" Also, if you had bothered yourself to listen to what Obama has been saying (and said quite courageously and eloquently in Philadelphia), you would not place him in Al Sharpton's camp. Obama spoke to you that day. Too bad you weren't listening.
Finally, someone who calls Obama what you did has no business questioning anyone else's moral compass. Get your own house in order, dude.

| Remind me to add "Uppity" to PC felonious racist language. Thanks for adding it to the slander dictionary. Next word please. But thanks for the careful tip, lest I need PC re-programming and cultural sensitivity retraining. Uppity...sheesh! Quote: |

| Historic weight? A pop-culture Term Du Jour?
Amazing.... You and old-skool PC are so friggin' toast when it finally comes to logger-heads. Keep pushing unrealistic Utopian ideology. Go global and go big. Or expect when cornered a serious reprisal.

I'm not PC by any means. But when one uses blatantly racist language, one should expect to be thought a racist. That is what is known as "having the sense God gave a mule." |

Do you truly not know that being an "uppity nigger" was, in the not so distant past, treated as an offense so heinous that people were beaten, terrorized, and even killed for it? Homes would be burned, family members beaten and tortured, and people would sometimes be lynched for the crime of being "uppity". I am not making this up, and this has nothing to to with some frivolous attempt at being "PC"; this has to do with having some knowledge of history and the power of language. |

I don't like the man.
I don't agree with ANYTHING he says.
But, I respect what he is trying to do... Sadly, he is NOT the right man to be the first black president. He is tied to too damn many extremist folks, be it religion and political view.... I need not say names.. as they are blatently obvious.
Colin Powell would have been a kick ass candidate, and would have won by a landslide. Apparently his spouse requested that he not shoot for it. |

Calm the heck down, and think before going nuclear. You'll live longer. |
