| Bush: Iran 'Single Biggest Threat' to Middle East Peace
President Bush today again asserted Iran presents the "single biggest threat" to peace in the Middle East region. Quote:
"By the way it's in Israel's interest that the Lebanese democracy survives. You need to be concerned about Iran and you are concerned about Iran and so are we," Bush said.

Well, it is worth noting that Bush's policy on the Israel-Palestine issue was, for years, "Let them sort it out. It's not our problem to solve." Contrast that with the Immediate Threat of Iraq . . . .
One thing is clear. He has received and acted on some of the worst geo-political advice ever offered a modern U.S. President.
And who ended up stronger than ever?
Iran.
And NOW he's concerned? (Is there a shaking-of-the-head-in-amazement icon?)

What's sad is that the US govt thinks we can do a damn thing in the middle east.
1. It's not our fight
2. They have been fighting for the dawn of time, what makes us so damn ignorant that we think that we can stop it?
3. All we have gotten out of this is a pissed off globe, a lot of good troops killed, and exponential prices that is tearing our economy a new asshole. |

"Middle East peace"
Is it just me, or is that the biggest oxymoron ever?
If you want peace in the Middle East, you nuke the place until no one is left. That won't happen, so we should just accept that that whole region is a giant goatfuck. Leave 'em alone and let them slaughter themselves. If they feel the need to attack us, we nuke 'em to the Stone Age where they belong. Simple.
