Ross Perot was an exception since he spent $65.4 million of his own money and received 19% of the popular vote.
| Hmm...nice buy-off. The populace and electoral college smelled a skunk and spoiler. A hand-grenade with a "it's the economy stupid" short buzz-cut. What's he up to btw?

Perot is doing what he probably does best, making money. Now up to around $4.4 billion.
He doesn't discuss politics as much anymore since the string of Reform Party debacles, though he did earlier this year claim to be setting up an updated website with economic data. He has also been critical of John McCain. http://www.newsweek.com/id/94827

Go ahead and let the Demo's dream. The election is decided by electoral votes, and Barr will not have enough strength to pull enough votes to make a difference.
You can be sure Obama is going to have a tremendous deficit to make up once he faces the nation as a whole. I double he'll even carry California.
There are just too many people around who remember Carter.
It's just one more play for the college kids who will vote for the newest fad. http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/libertarianism.html
