Getting back to the thread topic (What if Hillary sweeps the remaining contests?). Obama needs 132 more delegates and Clinton needs 309. I really don't see a sweep that will carry her over the top.

As a person in the military it's ironic that you are so down on government's ability to do anything. Iraq is proof that the private sector isn't always better than government. I'd put up our own military personnel against the private contractors any day of the week. | You do not respect the military at all. You prove it in your insinuations and your outright suggesting we are all a pack of liars. You call all of us a pack of losers. You of course do not see that. But you damn sure do not respect us at all. You told my husband a very inaccurate reason behind the military draw down under Clinton. That ignorance right there says all I need to know.

It's also not entirely fair to compare today's economy with that of WWII and post-WWII. Given that the world's economy is a zero sum game (cash in, cash out) and a great many of the world's powers were seriously hurting during and after WWII, it makes sense that the US would be holding all the high cards back then. Germany and Japan were in tatters. The Soviet Union was a mess. England and France had lost fortunes. But the US, having suffered virtually no war damage and having profited from selling war supplies and producing weapons, was in relatively good shape. As Europe and Japan became prosperous again, that wealth began to equalize. We're still top dog, but comparatively speaking, it's not us and the rest of the world any longer. We're just one of many players now and other countries are holding some of the high cards. |

You of course do not see that. | You, my dear, are the one propagating falsehoods. I challenge you to quote one statement where I said that, 'all military personnel are a pack of liars or losers' or 'that I do not respect the military.' I'm confident that you cannot.
Your assumptions are just nonsense.
