| Car Sale Promotion: Free Gun or Free $250 Gas Card?
Missouri-based Max Motors is running an interesting promotion. If you buy a car, you have the option of accepting either a free gun or a free $250 gas card. Guess which one most customers are taking? Quote:
Every buyer so far "except one guy from Canada and one old guy" has elected to take the gun, Muller said. Muller recommends his customers select a Kel-Tec .380 pistol.
"It's a nice little handgun that fits in your pocket," he said.

Ya' missed one option Rob . . .
I'd have to think about it.
In my case, since we just bought the daughter a 2000 Chrysler Sebring . . . probably neither.

Another selection added to the poll.
On a personal note, I suppose the gas card would benefit me the most in the near term since I already have a decent selection of firearms.
Too bad the gas card is not for a fixed number of gallons instead of a fixed price. If gallons, hold on to it for a few months, and you would probably get a better rate of return than a basic money market savings account. |

Shouldn't the gas station attendant have the gun and ski mask?

I'd take the gun so I can hold up a gas station and steal their gas. |
