| McCain, Obama slam Iran's missile test McCain, Obama slam Iran's missile test - CNN.com
Sen. John McCain said Wednesday that Iran's missile test shows the need for an effective missile defense system, while rival Sen. Barack Obama believes it shows aggressive diplomacy, combined with sanctions, is necessary.
"Now is the time to work with our friends and allies, and to pursue direct and aggressive diplomacy with the Iranian regime backed by tougher unilateral and multilateral sanctions."
" ... These missile tests demonstrate once again that we need to change our policy to deal aggressively with the threat posed by the Iranian regime. ... Iran now poses the greatest strategic challenge to the United States in the region in a generation
I'm probably gonna get slammed for this but....
If I lived in a country that the MOST Powerful country on the planet had conducted two wars against my direct neighbor and had 300,000 of their citizens occupying that country with weapons of Mass destruction at my border and unlimited resources ( whether we can pay for them or not), I'd be freaking out. Imagine if China invaded Canada ???? Could you sleep easy at night ??? This country, whether they now are terrorists or just plain @$$holes, have their history and their pride and obviously feel they don't have to take crap from anyone. Bush and McBush are gonna keep pushing, and one of those crazies is going to find a way to hack into their missile
system and start the ball rolling.
If they block off the Strait of Hurmuz, imagine the price of gas then. I think it's time to use your brains instead of running off at the mouth.

I agree, though there's not much chance of Bush, McCain or Olmert using their brains because as we've seen, they don't have any.
This is a repeat of the Iraq WMD lies, they're prepared to attack Iran even though we know they have no nuclear capability, and there's no proof they're even trying to enrich uranium beyond the level they're legally permitted to do by the NNPT, which by the way Israel isn't a signatory of.
What a double standard, yet it's never mentioned in the tame western media.
We could be wishing for the good old days of gas at four dollars a gallon, by Christmas. |
