3 months and change... Im down to two folks.
writing in John Bowles, or McCain.
Obama is 100% opportunist... exactly as you say he is, Chuck... He's a damn snake in the grass... and has been travelling all over trying to "pretend" or play President... while McCain is back home... talking to the folks who are involved this Nov.
Also... why isn't Obama shouting for more debates between he and McCain?
Ive heard that the man cannot think on his feet very well, and looses it all without a sheet in front of him or a teleprompter.
as said before 2 crappy candidates, its pretty much obama (charismatic w/ his speeches were hes pretty much saying nothing and talking in circles sound like hes spewing out alot of his information about his campaign(lol)) and mccain (which is the same thing we've had for the last 8 years except 1 crucial change....hes smarter and knows how to play people with the "wounded soldier" card) so as said earlier in the post and from previous posters we've got 2 shitty candidates and in nov. u pick the lesser of 2 evils(which is going to turn into your own opinion / beliefs).
P.S. i personally am not sure who i am going to vote for yet so before you call me a leftist or a die-hard republican i personally have not made a choice. This post is just my 2 cents .

Did Obama have any Senatorial staff in Iraq? I don't think so.
Besides, this is another one of those distractions that we have been warning about. It's so sad how a people can be fooled and fooled again. In 2004, they distracted you with purple hearts and wind surfing to get you to pull the lever for Bush. This year, they'll try to fool you with hospital visits and flag pins.
Those people who are distracted by this nonsense are effectively sacrificing better healthcare, clearer foreign policy and moderate Supreme Court Justices.

People can promise anything they want doesnt mean they are going to make it come true (i can promise you right now that i'll give you a dollar in 5 minutes)...nothing goes through without Legislative approval so in my opinion they are still both terrible candidates and until i see something that i can really take as a serious promise and something that will get done... i will continue scratching my head (perhaps until nov when i walk into the booth.) To be honest i wasnt paying attention to the last election being 14 and all O_o, but if im not mistaken arent presidential campaigns full of smoke screens and fan boys(srry for the "gamer" term) trying to hype a campaign to make the sheep follow them? I dunno.... again just my two cents.
P.S. It's all part of the dirty dirty game we call politics.

Ya' know MTA . . . sometimes it's really hard to understand what a naive moron you tend to be . . .
Being the good little Democrat hack you are, you should quickly be able to find out who all accompanied Obama on this little trip. Because, about the only place you're not going to find a Senator without his aide . . . is in thier bedroom at night . . . and even then, it seems we hear about that happening as well.

It may be true that Obama can be faulted for his choice of staff to accompany him, but as MTA pointed out, this entire topic is a joke. Hello, everyone! There are some important issues facing our society, and the two candidates clearly have different visions of how to lead us through them. Please try to stay focused. I know it can be difficult, with Chuck constantly posting whatever inane spin on reality he can dredge up, but it's not that hard!

It may be a joke to you Pex, and to MTA . . . but to many, especially those currently in the military and those who've served . . . it is definitely not a joke! I tried to direct the blame away from Obama, you think slighting our wounded servicemen and women a joke?
If I felt that he was slighting them, I would absolutely agree with you! But I don't. Who co-sponsored the much-improved veterans' benefits bill? Who opposed it? What's more important?
