    Just as with Clinton, it isn't the affair that burns me. He can do what he wants. It's the fact that he stood up there in front of the U.S. and denied it. He lied straight into every American's face. Now granted, that happens way too often these days, but there's a difference, in my mind anyway, between broken political promises, and straight out lies. It also points to his lack of judgment. Any big name politico who thinks he/she can hide an affair is sadly mistaken and has made a very, very poor decision.

    For me it's somewhat satisfying to see people, of notable celebrity status, get knocked down a couple of inches. Examples:
    Jimmy Swaggart- Evangelist
    Eliot Spitzer-The former Governor of New York
    Jim Bakker-PTL founder
    Charles Keating- Former bank Chairman and hometown hero
    Former TYCO Chairman and CEO Dennis Kozlowski, to name a few
