Why I'm Voting Democrat

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that open borders and government give-aways to foreigners is a great way to grow a nation.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I'm voting Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ass it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

I thought a few of you would get a kick out of this.

I'm voting Republican so that I will be able to see the pictures and tapes of John and Sarah in the Oval office collaborating of the latest methods of birth control in order to reduce teenage pregnancies.

You're voting Republican because you have a child's mind that sees only black and white -- a mind that is easily manipulated by slick ads that appeal to your basest instincts -- the same kind of mind that corrupt and evil leaders throughout history have depended on to march in lockstep against whomever happens to be the most convenient scapegoat.

You're voting Republican because you would rather demagogue a wedge issue than actually work to solve a problem.

I didn't get a kick out of the "joke" because I love my country and am scared to death that another eight years of the same failed policies and scare tactics will ruin it beyond repair. The only possible salvation in a John McCain adminstration is that no one really knows which McCain might show up -- the Senator or the Candidate. In case you haven't noticed, they believe in and promote diametrically opposite views on many issues.

Another reason I didn't get a kick out of the "joke" is that, as usual, the premises of the Democratic positions are distorted and false; in other words, not funny at all. Good satire needs to have some core truths within. This doesn't.

I'm voting Republican because I live in California and see every day, first hand what Democrats can do to a country.

Attempted murder is not a deportable offense in California, even if you are an illegal alien!

Art Flores (chairman, Calif Dem party) has told La Raza ("The Race" in Spanish*)that if Obama wins, the border fence will not be continued. It won't be torn down, but it will not be maintained or repaired. They plan to change immigration regulations to "unite by family" vs "allow visa according to domestic needs". So expect California and the rest of the southwest to rapidly fill up with Mexicans in the next few years - especially aged parents of immigrants who need medical services not available for free in Mexico.

A perfect example of demagoguery! Thank you!

Any rational, thinking person knows that we have a disfunctional immigration policy. Any rational, thinking person knows that the border fence will not solve the problem.

And any rational, thinking person has to wonder what John McCain's views are. After all, Candidate McCain is now against the immigration bill that bears Senator McCain's name!

So to think that Republicans have a better solution to the immigration issues facing us is ludicrous, for they have a serious conflict of interest. Business wants cheap labor, and business is traditionally Republican. But the so-called "base" (at least the demagogues and haters among them) want to cleanse the country of brown-skinned immigrants. What to do?

As a lifelong Democrat I will be voting Republican because,

My party had no shame in honoring a murderer and coward at the convention.

My party had no shame in trying to destroy a warrior for Democratic causes, our very own VP candidate because he disagreed on one issue.

My party leaders in their lust for power ignored their nation was at war and have embolden the enemy. They have the blood of American fighting men on their hands and extended a war.

My party is incapable of ever defending this nation in its present state.

We want to get rid of the illegal immigrants. These are people who are here ILLEGALLY. That means they are breaking the law. So do you support illegal activities?

Then I guess you wont be voting for Nobama either. He represents the same failed policies and scare tactics the libs have been using for years.

There's plenty of truth in those Pex. You're just too blind to see it.
