Somehow I'm not surprised that Obama gave Biden marching orders to tell Israel the US is cutting them loose and that Obama doesn't have a problem with a nuclear arms race in the middle east.

If true, that flies in the face of what Obama says about the region:

Israel is likely to attack Iran's nuclear facilities before Bush leaves office. They have a viable plan and a military with a very high success rate. They will not be putting their national safety up to our debates.

I agree. They can't trust Obama, or his insiders for that matter not to alert the Iranians and try to stop them before they get started.

The Israelis are fools if the attack Iran but that is their affair. America's foreign policy should focus on American interest. The Israelis don't contemplate what is best for American they worry about what is best for Israel. We should be so wise.

From what I remember the Russians are selling Iran a much more modern air defense system which will be up and running before the end of the year, so the Israelis will have to bomb soon or face a much more difficult target. Personally I hope they don't as it will be a nightmare of responses and many deaths.

Military Aircraft can detect radar from farther than twice the range as the radar can detect them. Israel will have anti-radar missiles with them. They also have in flight re-fueling capability.

Excuse me Mr.Combat but Israel would be fools if they allow Iran to get nuclear weapons. Something about allowing a nation that has sworn to destroy you the means to do so is the insanest policy of all.
