raises the price of corn
creates more co2 than it saves.
Lowers mileage of vehicle increased fuel budget. |

of course they can happen, new technologie always creates sideeffects we may haven't tested yet, but we learnt from that mistake and try to fix it in a different way
i don't know about you but staying the course we have right now nothing will ever happen, but trying to find new ways may fix the problems we have, new introduced problems could be solved again but if we in the end succeed it was all worth it
