Of course he will. When he first did it...people were speculating that he was actually helping Goldman Sachs. Yeah right...he's waiting for the big $700 Billion Dollar plan from the Fed so he can make more money...he's not stupid. |

I take exception to the word "dirty".
Politics is a war of words. The big brain fart of the 90' & 00's was to get people into houses so they could build financial security through inflation. The problem was the government told the lending institutions to follow their rules, with threw out the 50% of your pretax income going to living expenses.
The government didn't allow for the higher interest rates that higher risk requires.
What's so good about owining a home as far as the government is concerned?
People consume more - good for the economy
People take more pride in owned rather than rented - good for neighborhoods.
People have a bigger stake in local schools.
It's all good. Right up until the point where people can't afford to pay the bills.
