Glad to help out, Gomer. Anything to make your life easier.
Oh, one problem with your logic, though - regarding McCain's approval of the moderator. They weren't aware she had a pro obama book out. And despite what you think, it's incumbant on the moderator to disclose such things. Just like a lawyer would be required to recuse himself when there is a conflict of interest, or face disbarrment.
I'm not so worried about it, though. I just found out that Richard Miniter is moderating the next presidential debate.

I don't get it. You were so scornful of Obama and Clinton refusing to get involved in a debate run by Fox "News", which is pervasively biased against any Democrat.

That was a debate between democrats and other democrats. They didn't go on fox because they wanted softballe questions from their pals in the MSM. They didn't want to take responsibility for many of the statements they made...
any "pervasive" bias against democrats would have been equal among them. As opposed to a debate between a democrat and a republican, where the moderator is an important factor - and has the power to ask questions which are "gotcha" questions for one candidate, and hero questions for the other. In addition to that... the dem candidates NEEDED to be asked some hard questions.
Now, if you advocate democrats being asked questions ONLY by democrat-leaning moderators, and republicans ALSO being asked questions during national debates ONLY by democrat-leaning moderators... and you DON'T see any problem with that - particularly when there could be a direct conflict of interest with the moderator chosen - then i don't know what to tell you, Theo. Except that we turn the tables around and go with ONLY conservative moderators for a few decades and see if democrats consider THAT unfair.
