I can honestly say I only watched 30 seconds of this debate...and that was in a men's locker room. I heard some crap about stem cells and Obama spending a lot of money on negative ads. That's about it.

Same shit, different day. Wake me up when these guys speak the truth and address real issues. I can only assume they did neither because they haven't done so any time in the past and I feel confident they won't any time in the future.

My health insurance (including my two boys) costs around $18k per year. It's not phenomenal coverage, but it's not sub-par either. Thankfully work pays a huge chunk.

Insurance companies have already substantially increased the cost of health care - I can say "doubled" and not feel I'm out of bounds. Everyone having it will increase the costs further, and throwing yet another bureaucratical nightmare into the mix - our incapable government and people - and medical costs are going to skyrocket. All that money has to come from somewhere.

I personally think the philosophy of everyone being able to get medical care - well, to some degree - is a great one. I don't think we're heading anywhere near the right direction to make that happen as the direct and indirect costs are going to be insane.

You will get nothing. When it you verses an illegal alien who is 30 years old and has his working life ahead of him, triage will force you to the sidelines.

You better wake up and start finding out what is going on around you. Does your union pension have an inflation escalator in it? Or are they just going to give all of your dues money to the Democrats?

What did Obama promise you that was so great? His 47 million uninsured includes the estimated 24 million illegal aliens. You won't find the MSM doing the math for you.

When government offers a "default" medical plan, many companies will be glad to write a check to the government and dump you off their plan. Unions are no different. You were required to go on Medicare at 65, weren't you Pickel? They just shifted part of your coverage to the government to free up their own cash. So you union covers you until you are 65, then they send you off to Medicare, and pay a supplement.

Tell me how wrong I am Pickel....
