    Who to Vote AGAINST.

At some point I posted a list of Representatives who voted for Bailout and RobRich posted a list of Senators. Many are running for Re-Election.

If some member can find these or post them from another source, that would be appreciated.

Now both Senators Obama and McCain also voted for this extra-Constitutional Bill that, in effect, made the Secretary of Treasury the most powerful persin in America ---through his power now to "buy" Congress with an "appropriate" distribution of the Largesse, when can then be kicked backed to Re-Election campaigns.

Perhaps this is the time to vote for a Third Party candidate (i.e. Liberitarian or Constitutional Party); unless you live in a close "Swing State", I don't think your Protest vote would be wasted.

PS. Treasury Secretary's actions cannot be reviewed-- by anybody. See Below.

I was wondering if the Supreme Court was going to be used to review the bill. I remember reading somewhere about how this was the option presenting the best possible outcome.

On a different note: When are we going to get congress up dated so that all votes are recorded? The tech has existed since the '70's, but they still refuse to install it.

Also on a different note: When are we going to move over to a "Line/Item" voting system in congress?

And now why these come to mind when I read about this Bailout Bill:

If we had the vote recording system and line/item voting system we, the people, would be able to vote out the idiots who voted to screw us. Instead of this "I had to vote for the bad to get the good" excuse we hear all the time, or worse "voice vote" where total numbers but no names are recorded, we would have lists of votes that "go pork" and be able to hold them accountable.

    Sorry for the thread jack
