In this case, you're soundly and strongly pushing Obama and seem to follow his words to the letter . . . wouldn't that make you a "worshipper" or Obama??? Same goes for the other followers of Obama, they listen to everything he says and don't question anything that comes out of his mouth.
You could justify the words fanaticism or fanatic's as well, in regards to Obama supporters.

He owes the unions big for this election, it has a lot of support from the rank and file, and waiting until mid-term elections or later is likely to mean not passing it at all.
| I don't think he will. Why would he ignite a storm of controversy so early in his term? Polling data shows the public is overwhelmingly against it, and many Democrats would not support him. I can't imagine him wanting to start an idealogical fight right out of the box.
Unions are like the black vote - they have no place else to go! They'll just have to suck it up.

Every Obama supporter I've heard in person, on the radio, on TV, on the internet, or on these forums call him the man of change, the Hope, the savior of this country . . . They bash Bush, they bash McCain, they bash Palin, but they can find nothing wrong or questionable about Obama or anything he has said.
After a debate, the fact checkers came out and showwed where both candidates misled, or lied, or mis-represented the truth, or streched the truth. Obama followers were quick to point out McCain . . . but denied, hid, or down-played the mis-cues by Obama or Biden.
What would you call them??? It's much more than "supporters" when they don't want to hear any questions about his birth certificate, or his citizenship, or his associations with different people, etc.
Now, all you hear is that he will be the first black President . . . fact is, he isn't black, he's malato. Would he be the first President that wasn't all white??? No, in fact there were 5 U.S. Presidents that had blacks in their ancestory, they nclude Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge. Source
Sorry to break the news to all of you, but facts are facts.

Oh, since Obama appears black he can't or doesn't have any white in him? Hate ta' tell ya' Auntie, but his mother is white. Some goes with the other 5 . . . just because they appeared to be white doesn't mean there wasn't any black in the family tree.
<disclaimer>This is a bad example and I imply nothing toward Obama, but it's the only one that comes to mind<disclaimer>

This is a specious argument. Our country's history sets the historical precedent. Read Plessy v. Ferguson. |

What Obama lacks that American blacks enjoy, is the distinctive "victimhood" of having slavery in their past.
Having non slave roots in Kenya, means his ancestors were probably on the selling end of slaves. |
