Having non slave roots in Kenya, means his ancestors were probably on the selling end of slaves. | Now THAT is un-called for Chuck!

| I think it is. The "Black Experience" is centered around the injustices caused by slavery. Obama does not share that ancestry.
Slaves were purchased from African tribe who kidnapped members of other tribes, or took them as prisoners during conflicts and sold them to Dutch (mainly) slave traders.
The truth is always harsh...

The truth is always harsh... | Wait a minute Chuck . . . what about all those who were taken into slavery by whites without being sold into slavery by other tribes . . . I don't think there's anyway to put numbers on it, but you can't blame it all or most of it on the tribes. You're right Chuck . . . the truth is harsh!!! The truth is, whites were involved up to their armpits.

Harder | I was never involved in anything, nor was anyone I know...
Maybe you should change that to past tense.

| The Dutch were white, if that's what you mean.
Nearly every slave was purchased from a slave trader in Africa. "Whites" did not go out into the jungle and capture people as if they were rabbit hunting.
I'll leave the rest of the research up to you. Africans in America | Part 1 | Narrative | The African Slave Trade and the Middle Passage
I'd also like to add that slavery was outlawed by the evil "White" American, Thomas Jefferson who signed a bill abolishing the slave trade to take effect on 1 January 1808.
Historians rewriting history fail to note that it was America who freed the slaves.
Now riddle me this Batman: How does this relate to Obama? |

I see the Obama worshipers are already making excuses as to why he can't do what he said he would. |
