Man pulls out his own teeth

Man pulls out 13 of his own teeth with pliers 'because he couldn't find an NHS dentist' | Mail Online

Quote:
The 42-year-old, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, had not had his teeth looked at since seeing the army dentist in 2003. He had not been registered with a dentist of his own since 2001.

The reason why I posted this here is don't those people get free health care?! How could he not find a dentist that would help this guy's problem?

I swore I made a thread about this same exact thing before, but for the life of me, I can't find it.

Ah, yes, here it is. Not a thread; a post.

Wow thanks for the link Bingo!

Quote:
England has a two-tier dental care system with some dentists offering publicly subsidized treatment through the National Health Service and others performing more expensive private work.

But more than three-quarters of those polled said they had been forced to pay for private treatment because they had been unable to find an NHS dentist. Almost a fifth said they had refused dental treatment because of the cost.

 Being a military brat and going through tricare, no offense but I would NEVER want to go through that again!

And if I heard correctly on the radio, this fellow - an Iraq War veteran - is part of NHS.

The only solution is simple.... As hillary suggested make it illegal to forge a business arrangement with a medical professional outside of the NHS! Now doctors in order to be licensed must play ball of change fields or leave the country.

PS in the UK dentists are a must even more than in the south
