| Octuplets OMG
This story is such a train wreck I can't believe it has not been addressed here yet.
Points of interest
1) 8 live babies born to mom IVF
2) She had 6 others IVF
3) She is not married
4) She Was not married for the first 6
5) She intentionally had a bumper crop multiples (this is not a fertility treatment gone wrong)
6) She has no source of income
I have heard some estimates that initial hospital bill will exceed 3 million dollars.
? who paid for this ?
Can they cut her uterus out?
Can they kill the doctor or at least make him financially liable for these children. Cause I did not do this why should i pay for these kids. |

Epi this happens everyday in America, granted its not that many kids at once. We have a broken system that many take advantage of everyday

A doctor implanted these kids. She has done this twice. |

This chick is a serious wack job. I didn't even bother watching the interviews because you can see from the highlights she has no clue. She's just in it for attention! The doctor that did it should have his license yanked, whomever paid for the IVF should be smacked around and this chick should be put into counseling.

I get what you are saying and this guy needs to have his status removed. However their isn't really any laws on this is there?
You would think our wonderful social services system would step up and be like HEY NO MORE! |

I'm sure we (the California taxpayers) will love supporting her and her 14 kids. Quote:

Also, if I am not mistaken, she had the eggs removed and fertilized. Usually they store some and implant some, but she insisted that none are wasted and all are implanted. No word on whether it was for religious reasons or just because she is crazy...
Situations like this make me start to think that God/nature makes some people sterile for a reason....

From what little I saw on the news about it it had nothing to do with religion. She just said she wanted as many kids as possible, they had 6 or 8 whatever was ready and she wanted them all implanted at once.
I'm not one that generally supports infringing upon another persons rights, but when you've got 6 kids now, live with your parents and have no means or no potential means for support you should not be able to get IVF. I didn't watch the full report but I want to know how she paid for the procedure?
One has to ask why didn't her parents step up and say "wooaaa wait one min". I saw something that said they though it was only twins, does that make it any better. I mean seriously!
She now has 14 kids all under the age of 8
