| Letter: Why didn't flight crew mention God? Quote: On the Feb. 8 "60 Minutes" program, we were captivated while viewing the Katie Couric interview of the crew and passengers of Flight 1549.
However, we were struck there was not one mention of God, who directs pilots of planes and secures the safety of passengers.
We have written CBS and asked them for more realistic programming. Help protect our freedoms. Write CBS about this.

Maybe she got the idea from Kentucky where there is a 2002 law that stresses God's role in Kentucky's homeland security alongside the military, police agencies and health departments. An amendment to the law added in 2006 added a clause requiring the Office of Homeland Security to post a plaque that says the safety and security of the state "cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon almighty God" and to stress that fact through training and educational materials.
Just f***ing loony toons. Why aren't these people rounded up so they can be helped? Other's with neurological disorders that cause dementia, delusions, alzheimer's are covered under health plans and family members go out of their way to get the help needed but there seems to be a lot of people escaping the net.
Everyone that believes in an interactive god can now blame their god for the planes crashing into the towers. Thanks to Dena Malda for this insight.
