I love it, Cheney's personal assassin, 'a change you can believe in.'

But if you're asking, the answer is that the CIA and Congress did back the Taliban (among other Afghan nationalists) in fighting the occupying Russians. Indeed, the movie Charlie Wilson's War is all about that. It's hardly a secret. In 1996, even the reactionary California Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher supported the Taliban:

Try again.....There was no such thing as the Taliban during Charlie Wilson's War.

You need a real history lesson.

Do not tell me WHO I was aiding, I was there during Charlie's War Mister.

As far as the traitor Disley is concerned....His BHG (Brain Housing Group) got in the way of his snotlocker and he is suffering from a terminal case of 'Cranial-Rectal Inversion'...
He actively supports an enemy of his nation.

Don't tell me who I support.
I support peace and that means you and your ilk getting out of countries you are not wanted in.
The Taliban are no threat to the United States you have no business being there.
Neither do you have any business killing and torturing the people from that region.
A negotiated settlement could be achieved, if that's what was wanted.
So obviously it's not.
By spreading the attacks into Pakistan, you've managed to destabilize that country also.
I can only assume theirs a reason for this, but not one that will benefit the Pakistanis, but that's for a different thread.

Most of the Taliban are recruited from the Pashtun tribe, if you wanted to stop this a negotiate settlement with the tribal elders and leaders would go a long way to achieving that objective. This is a nationalistic conflict for them, nothing to do with any threat to America, Britain, Australia, Canada and all the other countries involved.
The majority of Australians were against the involvement in Iraq and are against our involvement in Afghanistan.
Because bombing houses and killing civilians does not lead to peace.

I notice you don't mention Saudi Arabia. They are destabilizing the region as much as, if not more, than any other outside actor. Where do you think all the money is coming from to fund these extremists?

I accuse you directly of Treason against Australia.

You are directly giving aid to an enemy of your nation.

Dizzy --

Unless I'm mistaken . . . B*D may be required to notify your Government of your support of the Taliban and Al Quada.

You have known that the B*D works in the Intelligence arena and you've continued to make the treasonous comments. I don't know what he would or wouldn't do . . .

He can do what the fuck he likes, do you think they're going to harass half the population that are against this policy.
As far as I remember we have a free conscience here to support government policy or not.
