Sarah, Sarah, where for art thou Sarah. Wasilla is in mourning and the Democrats are scared.
Just think of ALL the money she's going to waste running for Big Boss Hog. Ambition has cast reason to the wayside. Now if we get McCain and Lieberman to follow suit. If Sarah would click her Ruby Slippers, they be all gone in a puff of smoke.
Just wishful thinking

It's ironic that you chose that passage from Romeo & Juliet, pickel... it's perhaps a bit more instructive than you intended - or maybe it's exactly what you intended...
Sarah, Sarah, wherefore art thou a conservative? Deny thy party and refuse thy name.
'Tis but thy party that is the enemy of the media...
She is a rallying point for conservatism, and that's why the media, leftist pop culture, and the democrats must destroy her.

Well at least we'll get a break from wall to wall Michael Jackson...
There might be a call for a change in leadership in 3 1/2 years, don't you think?

Don't forget about African Witch doctors and Joel's Army and the rest of the Army of God folks. Pretty much the same delusional people Pex just outlined.

Maybe I am wrong and it is tolerant and open to any ideas that conform to their idea?
If that were the case why is the left so afraid of here that they need to go to such extremes to damage her? The left is so desperate for anything they have to resort to having a late night comedian attack her daughter, glad I never wasted my time on that show. |

Exactly, mad... "tolerant" liberals must deride her because she's a threat. if she weren't a threat, they'd ignore her.
She's a rallying point for getting government under control. Smaller government, tax-friendly to its citizens and businesses.
She's a threat to anyone who wants a larger government controlling more and more, and taxing more and more from its people. She's a threat to those who seek massive power from the government. With a full 40% of the country self-identifying as conservative, versus around 25% self-identifying as liberal, she's a threat to liberal democrats, and their designs on this nation and our lives. That's why they must deride her, and those who support her. |

The "left" didn't do anything to damage Sarah Palin. Fact is, she is so f___ing ignorant that she can't even handle an interview with Katie Couric, fer chrissakes. And that debate? "Now don't bother me with those pesky questions." [wink, wink]
As a card-carrying liberal, I am quite tolerant of others. That does not extend to ignorant demagogues who want to run the country, though. If Ms. Palin were to possess the humility to recognize how unfit she is to hold high office, I would have no problem with her. But she is a joke, and I would actually prefer that the Republican Party start to examine why they seem unable to field a serious, intelligent, real conservative leader. It is unhealthy for the country to have one of the major political parties cater solely to whack jobs like some of you here. |

It's no surprise, then, that Democrats have airdropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers, investigators and opposition researchers into Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and Mrs. Palin's hometown of Wasilla to dig into her record and background. My sources report the first wave arrived in Anchorage less than 24 hours after John McCain selected her on August 29.
