It is traditional in western society...
| Wow, I didn't even realise Australia had stopped being considered Western society. Looks like I'll have to change everything I write. Do I say Pacific, Far East or Oriental?
Though yes, lovely project on... child care? Purpose though? |

There is first degree murder
Then there is botched first degree murder by a loser.
I see not destinction between the severity of the crime. The results may be different but the intent was the same so I think the punishment should be the same. |

well you can argue that he maybe learned something from it because it was not actually intended but in the heat of the moment, he won't be doing that when he comes out. this is different to those who kill because of lust/disorder he can learn, the others won't learn

Creatures | He's already past the learning point IMO. I don't trust him whatsoever to be put back into society to be honest.

Dude you learn not to drift in your lane and hit a bicyclist, you learn how to not lose your cool and key someones car. You learn not to threaten someones life, Hell you can even learn not to brandish a gun at someone.
This is pointing a deadly weapon at someone taking aim and squeezing the trigger and then driving off. this guy is at a whole nother level from "learning one of those little life lessons we all need to learn." |
