| EAT your dog to save the Earth??
A new book claims that IF we EAT our pets we can save the EarthQuote:
Save the planet: eat a dog?

The eco-pawprint of a pet dog is twice that of a 4.6-litre Land Cruiser driven 10,000 kilometres a year, researchers have found.
Victoria University professors Brenda and Robert Vale, architects who specialise in sustainable living, say pet owners should swap cats and dogs for creatures they can eat, such as chickens or rabbits, in their provocative new book Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living.
| Your dog is worried.
Would you consider eating your pet if it could save the Earth?

yes of course if it would save the earth I would eat my dog. However the hollow gesture of eating my dog would not improve the planet. The collective act of eating the dog may in some way reduce co2 but since there will never be buy in on eliminating pets I am not going to knock mine off as a gesture of good faith. |

Not Cody, anyone's pet dog or a stray at large.
I'd let this miserable planet and ALL it's miserable human inhabitants go to HELL !!

in the morning.
I guess I see how we differ. Cody's not an it. He's an integral part of our family, interacting ,sometimes on a equal level, but he knows we're pack leader and keeps his place. |
