I think money should be set aside, or "X" dollars a dose for insurance to cover people who have bad results from immunizations. After the season ends, distribute the rest to the lawyers as a gesture of good will so they won't keep making up things to sue for.
It is the governments job to cry "Wolf", because one of these days the real serious flu is going to raise it's head and these same people are going to be peeing their pants demanding a flu shot RIGHT NOW!
Nothing is perfect, but simply being alive is a risk.
So keep your un-vaccinated feral children away from my grandchildren.

History repeating itself except for the part about there hasn't been other major issues with the shots since 1976.
What do you mean?

Tell that to the parents who think their kids got autism from their immunizations. I don't know if they're right or not, but hell...it's tough for them not to wonder 'what if?'.
I think the really telling part of the video is how none of the supposed cases in 1976 were confirmed. ZERO confirmation. You think it's acceptable when your government insists you get vaccinated for some phantom disease? Maybe you should take Viagra every day just in case ED hits when you least expect it.

Kind of like what do you say to the families of people that died this year from swine flu...If only the shots were ready sooner...
Anyway - for those of you that don't get the shots..Please stay out of New Mexico where my favorite neice lives
That is the 1 in a million thing. Sucks to be the 1 in a million. But do you let your kid risk 1 in 10,000 risk of death with flu? Or do you risk 1 in 1000 chance of complication up to and including what happened to that girl?

PS your neice has already been exposed or is going to be exposed because there are not enough shots to go around. and because this is the flu and it runs through society every so often.

Say what?
There will be enough shots to go around any day now...

Are you making a money back offer she won't die?
yes I am making a money back offer on that she wont die because of my failure to get my shot. The flu is going to come in from all directions that it is rediculous to even consider the single person forgoing the shot. if you are truely that frightened you probably should get her a bubble to live in the next few months.
