School board elections in my area, and if I feel well enough I will vote.

Nothing in this neck of the woods.
But when it comes to elections... next year-- Conrad,Dorgan and "Palm-a-Boy" are going to be in a hurtbag for siding with the hardcore libs on this healthcare debacle.

But--- thats the way this state has ALWAYS been. a conservative governor and a liberal, get everything for the farmer house and senate representation.

I suppose it was just a matter of time. AFAIK, GZ3 was simply asking if anyone voted. I did not read anything asking for political commentary.

Anyway, now moved to DebateIMO.

We had mayoral elections here, as well as city council and school board. I always vote anyway, but my neighbor is in a tight race for mayor so I wanted to throw my support in.

It's kinda sad because it seems that way for everyone, myself included. I knew a couple of candidates, but certainly not all of them.
Though on a slightly different note I see in the paper that my neighbor just won the mayor-ship, might be nice to bend his ear a bit (I live in fall river, ma pop 90k not quite a small town).
