Massachussets: It's the People's Seat, and It's up for Grabs
Itís the peopleís seat, and itís up for grabs - The Boston Globe
I belive the election is Jan 19th. Should be pretty close.
To Ted Kennedy's credit, he ran constituent services second to none and to some degree this is what Scott Brown is campaigning on (locally).
It's a referendum on Democrat rule, and every Democrat dollar and high profile Democrat (except Obama) is going to campaign to defeat Brown. The Dem's have poured money in at a 5 to 1 advantage over Brown.
This is a race worth watching.
Plus I understand ACORN has no operation in Massachussets.

What makes you think Obama won't campaign for Coakley?

It steers the dialog toward Washington and Obama.
Which isn't the best thing for a Democrat candidate."The world burns while Obama Tweets."

I'm sure the Democrats would prefer a dead body over any living Republican (and I'm not just talking about voters).

Obama said to eye Massachusetts campaign visit [Update] | D.C. Now | Los Angeles Times
President Obama, who had no plans to travel to Massachusetts, may be heading there to campaign for a Democrat caught in a surprisingly tough race for a Senate seat that is crucial to Democratic hopes of keeping control in the Senate.
Quoting Democratic Party sources, the Associated Press says Obama will visit Massachusetts before Tuesdayís special election in which state Sen. Scott Brown is running well, and in at least one poll, is beating the Democrat, Atty. Gen. Martha Coakley.

They are there, but they aren't as tied to the Chicago Obama mob as those in other places so I am told.
I guess Obama is going to campaign at least once for Croakley. But the polls are showing Brown with a ACORN-proof lead, and a rejection of Democrats.
I'm waiting to see what bomb the MSM drops on him Sunday or Monday, like they did with Bush on a DUI, and on Bush's fictious National Guard "papers" from CBS.
I can only imagine what a stink bomb they are waiting to toss.
Either way, Comparing Martha Coakley to a box of rocks is unfair to the box. She is a terrible candidate. She is only there because the Democrats thought they had a rubber-stamp on the seat.
