Thomas Drake - NSA (leak or whistleblower)
Former NSA Official Leaked Secrets Via Hushmail -- InformationWeek
Would someone like to dig up what he leaked?

Seriously, can someone else post some research on him? (I'm not getting impatient, I just want to be clear that was a request as I have not done so)

It's disheartening that the Obama administration has taken the position that they want to look forward, not backward, with respect to Bush Admin crimes except for whistleblowers.Conservatives: "If the facts disagree with our opinion, ignore the facts -- or at least misrepresent them."

MTA, are you taking the position that employees who have access to classified information should not be reprimanded for disobeying protocol?
The man broke the rules and he will have to deal with the consequences of that.
@Silicon: The reporter he was in contact with appears to be Siobhan Gorman of the Wall Street Journal.

Tony, if someone leaks classified information that reveals a crime I think they should be qualified as a whistleblower and thus protected under whistleblower laws. Else classifying a crime is all that's needed to ensure justice is never served. But I'm not yet referring to this case as I have to now read up on it.
It's very disheartening to me, too, MTA.

First of all, expect the trial and sentencing to come first, then the appeal based on whistleblower status later.
You can't give everyone a pass to just leak what they want because in their opinion, it's a "crime"."The world burns while Obama Tweets."
