Doesn't change the fact that she's a fraudster and was commiting fraud. Either way I think it's possible to speculate that someone at management found out about it.

If they laid her off along with a bunch of other employees at the same time... then maybe not. But if it was just her...

Out of all of the unemployed people out there, do you think they could have found someone without a rap sheet?

Last I checked I was never convicted of fraud, chances are you weren't either.

Knowingly engaging in fraudulant activity is a pretty big mistake... it's not a "Oops sorry I didn't know that was illegal.." kind of mistake.
