57 gigatons of carbon emissions
FROM: DOE Buildings to Get Cool Roofs that Reflect Heat Back into Space | SolveClimate News
A report from Lawrence Berkeley National Labs said that if the world’s 100 largest and hottest cities converted to white roofs and lighter colored pavement, they would achieve a one-time offset of 57 gigatons of carbon emissions. That's equivalent to taking all the autos of the world off the road for 11 years, according to Energy Secretary Chu.They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

So reading between the lines, they are trying to recreate the reflectivity of the glaciers from eons past?
That didn't stop the glaciers from melting, so what else was a work? Other than "California Science"...The interest on the National Debt ($5.2T) in the next ten years, if allotted to the taxpayers would represent ~ $300 a month per family.
